Gas welding machines for non-contact heating

Non-contact melting process using radiation and gas convection with hot exhaust gases that are directed at the weld seam via the burner element:

  • Complex technical plastics with higher temperature resistance can be joined in a 2-stage process without the melt that is generated sticking to the hot plate.
  • Greatly reduced oxidation of the material thanks to low oxygen content of the hot gas.
  • Operation with natural gas, very attractive energy balance compared to all other melting processes.
  • Servomotor-driven presses.

Application examples:

  • Automotive industry: “Under-the-bonnet” (PA parts such as air intake manifolds, ventilation system components, reservoirs).
  • General components that present problems for contact heating.
